Meghan O'Brien Taylor Selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2015

At the Law Offices of Virginia L. Landry, Inc., we are proud to announce that our very own, Attorney Meghan O’ Brien Taylor has been selected by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star℠ for 2015, which is the second year that she has received this recognition.

Attorney Taylor has had the honor and distinction of being included in Southern California’s selection of Rising Stars℠ for 2014 and now 2015.

Super Lawyers® rates outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas, all who have achieved a high degree of recognition for their professional achievements. The rigorous selection process combines independent research with peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Super Lawyers® Selection Process

The Super Lawyers® selection process identifies outstanding attorneys using a multiphase selection process.

Each of the candidates are evaluated on a dozen indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, such as admission into a prestigious college, certification as a specialist in a particular field of practice, scholarly lectures, employment background, and honors and awards.

These selections are made annually and on a state-by-state basis: the final published lists represent no more than 5 percent of the top attorneys in each state.

While as much as 5 percent of lawyers in each state are named to the Super Lawyers® list, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers are named to the Rising Stars℠ list, thus it is quite an achievement for an up and coming attorney.

We want to congratulate Attorney Taylor for being named to California’s list of Rising Stars℠ for two years in a row!

Attorney Taylor earned her undergraduate degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and her Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University School of Law in Orange. She has worked with the Orange County Office of the Public Defender and the San Diego Office of the Public Defender.

Licensed to practice in the state and federal courts, Attorney Taylor is the Vice President of the West Orange County Bar Association, a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and a proud member of the legal team at the Law Offices of Virginia L. Landry, Inc.
