Earlier this month, video footage of a beautiful bikini-clad woman taking field sobriety tests has gone viral, and people from all over the nation have watched as the Florida woman failed roadside tests after totaling her BMW.

Why has this video captured so much attention? Not only was the 49-year-old woman performing field sobriety tests in a tiny bikini, but the woman is a grandmother whose grandson was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Suspect Fails Field Sobriety Tests

The unusual scene captured the attention of passing motorists as they watched the 5’7”, 130 pound blond grandma on the side of the road with the police.

P. Ebel, 49, was taped wearing only a bikini on the eve of April 16, 2015 when she was filmed taking and failing field sobriety tests. According to her arrest report, she reeked of alcohol but refused to submit to a breath test.

Ebel and her 10-year-old grandson had enjoyed a day at the pool before she crashed her black BMW into a red Mustang that had been stopped at an intersection in Naples, Florida.

Despite totaling her BMW, Ebel and her grandson walked away unscathed. The other driver was injured and transported to a local hospital, however, their injuries were not life-threatening.

Before Ebel was taken away in a patrol car, her grandson ran over to give her a hug.

The grandmother was booked on several DUI-related charges, one of which included having a minor in the vehicle under the age of 18. She was also cited for having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.15%, according to Collier County inmate records.

She was released on $3,000 bond; Ebel is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
