Rockies Pitcher Arrested for DUI

Another athlete has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Alex White, a pitcher for the Rockies, was pulled over last week in Scottsdale, Arizona on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The young pitcher was detained last week after leaving a private function. He told his team managers that he had had two drinks before leaving the party and did not consider himself to be intoxicated. Although police are not releasing the details of his blood alcohol content results, he was found to be above the state legal limit of 0.08 percent.

When the pitcher failed the field sobriety tests and the Breathalyzer exam, he was brought to a local police station. He was released shortly after and returned home in a cab.
