Man Jumps Off Bridge To Avoid DUI Arrest

While nobody likes to get pulled over by police, one man took his arrest to the extreme. He raced out of his vehicle and jumped 20 feet off of a bridge. Luckily, 41-year-old T.R.H. survived the fall. Police first noticed him when they saw his vehicle swerving across the roadway. They flashed their lights and he pulled over immediately. However, he was too fast for police officers to catch before he jumped off the bridge. It took nearly an hour to rescue T.R.H. from the water below.

After he was treated at a local hospital, the suspect was charged with resisting arrest, DUI and careless driving. This is not the first time that T.R.H. has been in trouble with the law.
