Bobby Brown Arrested for DUI

After her death month, Whitney Houston's family has commandeered the media's full attention. Now, her ex-husband, Bobby Brown, has been at the center of several news sources because the R&B singer was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last week. Since then, Brown has been charged with three misdemeanor counts after being pulled over in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California. He has been charged with driving on a suspended license and two counts of DUI. The arresting officer wrote that Brown had a blood-alcohol level that exceeded the state limit of 0.08%. At this time, the exact level is not being released to the public.

Although police initially pulled Brown over because he appeared to be on his cell phone while driving, which is illegal in Los Angeles, officers quickly determined that he was impaired. After he failed the field sobriety tests, he was brought to a local jail and was released shortly after he posted bail. If you have recently been arrested in California for driving under the influence, take the time to discuss your case with an Orange County DUI attorney from our team by contacting the Law Offices of Virginia L.
