16-Year-Old Killed in DUI Accident

While there are countless reasons not to drink and drive, taking the life of an innocent bystander is at the top of the list. A man from Encino, California was arrested last week after causing the fatal car accident that took the life of a 16-year-old boy.

When officers arrived on the scene of the DUI accident, they found that the 32-year-old had been driving on a local boulevard when his vehicle went across the center divider. He struck a car carrying four teenage boys, one of whom lost his life immediately. Since the boy is a minor, his identity will not be revealed to the press.

The driver has since been charged with driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter. He is being held at a jail following treatment for his injuries.

Have you recently been arrested on vehicular manslaughter charges? If so, contact the Law Offices of Virginia L. Landry to engage the services of an Orange County DUI lawyer immediately as you will want to fight your charges to avoid conviction and hefty legal penalties.
