Former NBA Player Faces Subsequent DUI

A former NBA player found himself in police custody after he was found drinking and driving along the streets of Detroit. While this would have been news by itself, the fact that he had just come from court a few hours earlier made it worse. The suspect had just been given a three-week jail sentence for driving under the influence, but allegedly decided to hit the streets while under the influence yet again.

The first incident of DUI happened in March when the former player caused a DUI accident while intoxicated. After hearing the details of his case, the judge sentenced him to 20 days behind bars. Now that he has been arrested for his subsequent DUI, he may be facing penalties like jail time if he is found guilty.
