Off-Duty LAPD Police Officer Killed in Diamond Bar Crash

According to a county coroner's report, off-duty LAPD officer Jacqueline Montalvo was killed earlier this year after crashing her car, and it was recently determined that she was legally drunk. Three others were injured in the crash. Montalvo's vehicle veered across the median into opposing traffic and collided with two pickup trucks.

Her blood alcohol level was 0.18%, which is more than twice the legal limit. Montalvo was an eleven-year veteran of the LAPD and was engaged to another LAPD officer. She had just gotten engaged two weeks before her death.
