In the state of Ohio, a politician was placed under arrest for driving under the influence (DUI). According to news sources, Representative Kip Smith was pulled over by local law enforcement and is now facing DUI charges. Police first noticed Smith's vehicle when he ran through a red light. When they pulled the Representative over, officers quickly learned who was behind the wheel. Representative Smith told police that he had just left a restaurant where he had consumed just one beer. However, police say that the odor of alcohol coming from the Representative's was strong enough for them to request that he consent to field sobriety tests.
They later reported that Smith refused a breath test and failed to complete the
field sobriety tests. This prompted officers to arrest the Representative for suspicion of driving under the influence. Were you recently stopped by police in Orange County for suspicion of DUI? If so,
