Multiple DUI Offender Causes Fatal Accident

A man with two DUI convictions and another one pending caused a DUI accident that took the life of his friend this week.

According to police officers in Los Angeles, California, the 24-year-old was driving his car at speeds up to 100 mph on a local highway. At one point, he lost control of the vehicle and spun off the road, driving over a 30-foot cliff. The impact was so severe that the car split in half, ejecting both men onto the beach. The 23-year-old passenger lost his life at the scene of the accident while the driver was reported to be in critical condition.

At this time, there are still several questions to be answered. For instance, the car was not under the driver's name. However, no cars fitting the description have yet to be reported stolen.
