16-Year-Old Killed in DUI Accident

While there are countless reasons not to drink and drive, taking the life of an innocent bystander is at the top of the list. A man from Encino, California was arrested last week after causing the fatal car accident that took the life of a 16-year-old boy.

When officers arrived on the scene of the DUI accident, they found that the 32-year-old had been driving on a local boulevard when his vehicle went across the center divider. He struck a car carrying four teenage boys, one of whom lost his life immediately. Since the boy is a minor, his identity will not be revealed to the press.

The driver has since been charged with driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter. He is being held at a jail following treatment for his injuries.
