Basketball Player's Friend Arrested for Misdemeanor DUI

Recently, it was reported that a good, childhood friend of a well-known basketball player was placed under arrest for DUI in Los Angeles, California. The arrest took place during morning hours and led to charges of misdemeanor drunk driving.

Allegedly, the 23-year-old DUI offender was arrested after he was stopped by local officers at approximately 2 AM in Hollywood. At the time of his arrest, the basketball player was also inside of the vehicle.

Following the suspect's arrest and detention in jail, he managed to post $5,000 bail and was released by police. While reporters have pressed officers for more details on the arrest, the department has refused to issue any comments or additional information about the DUI arrest.
