Alcohol May be to Blame for Two Deaths

Two teenagers lost their lives in California last week and police now believe that alcohol is to blame.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 28-year-old male was driving the vehicle carrying the 13-year-old and 19-year-old male victims. The driver, along with a 17-year-old boy, survived the car accident. When officers were called to the scene of the accident, they thought that a recent downpour may be to blame for the incident. Since the mini-van had veered off the roadway and into a tree, a slick roadway was an easy culprit to blame.

However, a blood test conducted on the driver may now show that he was intoxicated. In that case, he will not only be charged with DUI but the possible manslaughter, however accidental, of two innocent teens.
