Accident Caused by Drunk Driving

Officers thought they were arriving at a regular crash site, but they quickly determined that this car accident had been caused by an impaired driver.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a 27-year-old male driver was heading east on a state route when he pulled onto the shoulder. He was attempting to enter the parking lot of a casino but instead ran into the back of a pickup truck. Luckily, nobody was in the parked truck at the time.

The driver was taken by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital. He was reported to have sustained major injuries.
