Harry Teinowitz Faces DUI Arrest

Local celebrity Harry Teinowitz was arrested on DUI charges last week in Skokie, IL.

The host on ESPN Radio in Chicago was pulled over around 11:50 p.m. last Friday when officers observed his impaired driving. After administering field sobriety tests they charged him with one count of driving under the influence, one count of DUI greater than .08 and two counts of improper lane usage.

When police subjected Teinowitz, 50, to a blood-alcohol content exam, they found it to be .131, well over the legal limit. Police later released him on ten percent of his $1,000 bond but took away his driver's license. The radio show host is expected back in court on March 23.
