Underage DUI Offender Causes Accident that Breaks Victim's Legs

A San Jose man broke both of his legs in a car accident that was caused by an underage, and under the influence, driver.

California Highway Patrol reports show that the victim, Steven T. Gonzales, 49, was being driven by a 15-year-old boy when he lost control of the vehicle. The Lexus went off the road and drove into a fence by the 156 flyover. The driver was checked for injuries at the Saint Louise Regional Hospital before being transported to the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. He now faces felony charges for DUI.

Gonzales, however, was also arrested, for possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a controlled substance, while being under the influence of an illegal substance. This does not bode well for Gonzales, who is the owner of a marijuana medical dispensary in San Jose.

When you are arrested for underage DUI, you could be facing serious charges. Contact an Orange County DUI lawyer today to get help and legal representation.
