Mother and Daughter Arrested for DUI
Officers in an Idaho city were surprised to learn that a mother and daughter were both arrested for DUI within one hour of each other.
According to police documents, the 24-year-old daughter was taken into custody around 11 PM when her vehicle was spotted swerving across the road. When officers took her blood alcohol level, they found it to be twice the state legal limit. Her mother was called to pick up the dog that was in the daughter's vehicle at the time of arrest, and when she arrived, officers discovered that she was also intoxicated.
After conducting the same field sobriety and
blood alcohol tests on her, officers arrested the 51-year-old mother for driving under the influence. Her test showed a level twice the legal limit, prompting officers to take her into custody.
