Chihuahua Stops Armed Robbers
What stopped two armed men from completing their robbery last weekend? A barking Chihuahua, as officers in Altadena, California later discovered.
According to a police report, the surveillance video showed two hooded men running into a local shop armed and demanding money. However, when the tiny dog ran up to them and started yapping, the two men quickly ran out of the store. The Chihuahua didn't stop there, however, as he can be witnessed following the men down the street, barking the entire time.
Luckily, neither the dog nor its owner were injured during the attempted robbery. The owner went on to tell police and media sources that the dog was rescued five years earlier from a pound and has become so enmeshed in the local neighborhood that he can be seen paroling the streets almost daily.
