Two Men Responsible for DUI Accident

Two men under the influence of alcohol are responsible for serious property and vehicular damage that happened last Thursday as a result of a DUI accident.

Michael Rouse, 44, and Gregory Lazarotti, 41, were out driving their Chevrolet Tahoe around when they lost control of the vehicle, drove through several fences and two front yards before hitting a home on Miramar Drive.

When officers arrived Rouse, the owner of the Tahoe, denied driving the vehicle that night; police found Lazarotti several blocks away, obviously bleeding from several facial injuries. He later admitted that he had been driving the Tahoe.

Police flew him to a Santa Clara County trauma center and later charged him on suspicion of felony hit and run and felony driving under the influence. Rouse got away with just one charge of suspicion of public intoxication.
