75 Year Old Man Causes DUI Accident

Luckily nobody was injured in the DUI accident caused by a 75-year-old man on South Avenue.

Billy George was heading west when he was stopped by Officer James Keffer. He pulled his car off the road into an access point and, as Keffer was exiting the patrol car, George backed up into the cruiser. Realizing that he had hit the cruiser George drove a short distance away and then stopped to wait for Keffer to approach him. 

The arresting officer determined that George had a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit of 0.8. George was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence as well as violating a court order by California Highway Patrol Officer Phillip Mackintosh. 

While George's 1999 Chevy Silverado had no noticeable damage the police cruiser did sustain minor damage as a result of the DUI accident.
