Baseball Player Arrested for Suspicion of DUI

A baseball player was arrested last month on suspicion of DUI. While this would have been bad enough, he tried to flee the scene of the three-car accident that he caused in Los Angeles, California.

According to the two other drivers involved in the car accident, the baseball player appeared at first to be unconscious. When officers arrived on the scene, they found him to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. In order to confirm their suspicions, a blood test was taken. It is uncertain what the results of the blood test were as they have not been made public.

Due to the serious nature of his arrest there was some concern as to whether he will be able to continue playing with his baseball club. The general manager of the club spoke this week and said that he does not think it will affect his standing at this time.
