Trial Date Set for Pilot Accused of Flying While Drunk

The U.S. Attorney's Office has set a date for the trial of Aaron Jason Cope, the United Express pilot that has been accused of flying while drunk.

When Cope, 32, appeared before the federal judge last week he was informed of the charge against him for unlawfully operating and directing the operation of a commercial aircraft while under the influence of alcohol. This is in regards to the incident on Dec. 8, 2009 where Cope was found to be drunk operating a place from Austin to Denver with a co-pilot.
