New Court Date Set for Vince Neil's DUI Case

In Las Vegas, the judge presiding over singer Vince Neil's DUI case set a new court.  Neil, the lead singer for the band Motley Crue, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence and speeding.

On Monday, it is reported that lawyers for the 49-year-old appeared on his behalf in Las Vegas Justice Court.  At that time, no plea was entered.

A clerk said that the Judge Joe M. Bonaventure set October 11th as the Neil's new court date.

Court documents reveal that Neil had a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent, which is the state's legal limit.  On June 27th, the singer was driving his Lamborghini sports car 60 mph in a 45 mph road and was stopped by law enforcement officers near the Las Vegas Strip. He was later charged with DUI and speeding.
