Man Charged with 12th DUI Offense on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day brought a 12th drunk driving offense for one Ohio man. Kelly Dorler, 45, was reported to the police when a concerned citizen dialed 911 upon seeing his van swerve across West Washington Street. That same caller followed Dorler's van until police arrived.

At that point he was pulled over and found to have a blood alcohol content of .174, more than double the legal limit in Ohio. He was arrested on the charge of third degree felony.

At this time Chief Berarducci is keeping Dorler in the Medina County Jail until his first court appearance. The fact that this is his twelfth offense will certainly affect how the judge rules at his primary hearing.
