Redskins Player Arrested for Drunk Driving

Although officers with the Sheriff's Department tried to conceal his identity at first, news has finally gotten out that Joe Joseph, defensive tackle for the Redskins, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Monday morning. The 25-year-old was being held on bail at the local jail.

Despite the efforts of Vincent DiBenedetto, acting public information officer for the Sheriff's Department, to conceal his identity, Joseph's booking photos gave him away. When compared to his team photo for the Washington Redskins on NFL.com, it was easy to see who the police had in custody.

At this time the Redskins management team is remaining mum about the incident. Senior Vice President Tony Wyllie stated that they are reviewing and gathering all of the pertinent facts now surrounding the case. The football player was originally signed by the Tennessee Titans before being bought by the Redskins team this year.
