Man Admitted to Hospital Following DUI

Now that the holidays are in full swing more people are hitting the road drunk like a man in Antioch, California who now faces charges of felony DUI. The 18-year-old, Robert Kilcourse, crashed into a tree and fence on East 18th Street around 2 AM. However, he was not alone in the car. One of his passengers was a 19-year-old who suffered major injuries and was rushed to John Muir Medical Center. As of Saturday morning he was listed as being in serious condition.

Kilcourse was treated at Sutter Delta Medical Center for minor injuries after which he was taken into custody. He is being charged on suspicion of felony DUI, according to the police in Antioch. The two other passengers were not injured in the accident.

At this time police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
